English Proficiency Should not be a Barrier to Employment in the Food Service Industry.

The British Columbia Food Safe Secretariat provides workbooks in five languages other than English and exams in twelve languages.

FOODSAFE Level 1 workbooks are available in the following languages:

English – Punjabi (bilingual)

English Chinese (bilingual)

English –Korean (bilingual)

English – Arabic (bilingual) – new

French (unilingual)

EXAMS IN OTHER LANGUAGES

All FOODSAFE Level 1 exams in other languages were recently reviewed by the Provincial Language Service for accuracy. Updated FOODSAFE Level 1 bilingual exams (Other language than-English) will be available from your Health Authority at the beginning of June 2018.
