Vern Morrow was born in Germany and turned 16 in the summer of 1943. When he returned to school with his classmates, they were all forcibly enlisted in the Anti-Aircraft Artillery of the Luftwaffe. In this memoir Vern describes his year in the AAA Auxiliary.
